The Corporation of the Township of Moonbeam is seeking a full-time Equipment Operator/Maintenance employee to join its Public Works team.

Job summary:
Under the supervision of the Lead Hand, the employee operates municipal equipment safely and performs various maintenance duties related to roads, municipal properties, buildings, and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate heavy and light equipment (trucks, loaders, blowers, mowers, etc.)
• Perform road maintenance work (snow removal, grading, minor repairs)
• Assist with the maintenance of municipal grounds, buildings, and facilities
• Conduct basic equipment inspections and preventive maintenance
• Comply with all health and safety regulations
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• Secondary School Diploma or equivalent experience
• Experience operating equipment and/or in municipal maintenance (an asset)
• Valid driver's licence (DZ class o higher considered a strong asset)
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of occupational health and safety practices
