Qualifications
Registered Nurse Practitioner and in good standing with respective regulating body with a minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting.
Experience in program development and education is considered an asset.
Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based practices.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Proficiency in EMR software and other relevant medical technologies.
Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.
Must have the ability to provide services in English and in French.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history, physical exams, and diagnostic tests.
Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses.
Prescribe medications and therapies as appropriate.
Develop and implement individualized care plans.
Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and management of chronic conditions.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide coordinated and comprehensive care.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
Participate in ongoing professional development and continuing education activities.
