Administrative Assistant - Summer Student

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Summer Student to provide administrative support across various hospital departments. This is an excellent opportunity for students interested in healthcare administration or related fields to gain practical experience and contribute to essential daily operations.

Salary: $18.50 per hour
Percentage in lieu of benefits

Qualifications
Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program (e.g., healthcare administration, business, office administration, or a related field).
Returning to full-time studies in the fall semester.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Professional demeanor and positive attitude
Previous administrative experience is an asset but not required.
Must have the ability to provide services in English and French.
Key Responsibilities
Provide general administrative support such as filing, data entry, scanning, photocopying, and organizing documents.
Assist with scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and taking meeting minutes.
Maintain and update departmental records and databases.
Greet and direct visitors, patients, or staff as required.
Respond to email and phone inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
Support departmental staff with special projects and day-to-day tasks.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
