Qualifications
Must possess a certificate from a recognized Diagnostic Cardiac Sonography program or equivalent.
Current registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario is required.
Strong knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, physiology, and pathology.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.
Proficiency in both English and French is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct echocardiographic examinations and accurately capture images and data.
Analyze and interpret echocardiogram results to assist cardiologists in diagnosis and treatment.
Prepare and maintain patient records, ensuring accurate documentation of procedures and findings.
Operate and maintain echocardiography equipment, ensuring it is in optimal working condition.
Provide compassionate patient care, explaining procedures and addressing any concerns.
Collaborate with medical staff to provide timely and effective patient care.
Stay updated with advancements in echocardiography techniques and technology.
