Qualifications
Degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program with a minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting.
Experience in program development and education is considered an asset.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Proficiency in EMR software and other relevant medical technologies.
Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.
Must have the ability to provide services in English and in French.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history, physical exams, and diagnostic tests.
Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with physicians.
Prescribe medications and therapies as needed, within the scope of practice.
Educate patients and their families on managing medical conditions and promoting overall health.
Perform minor surgical procedures and assist in major surgeries as required.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide coordinated and comprehensive care.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
Participate in ongoing professional development and continuing education activities.
